Panther Gym offers an amateur boxing program for individuals who wish to box competitively (or are considering it - competition is NOT mandatory). This is a very intensive training program and students are expected to train 3 - 4 times/ week. Physical contact is a regular part of this program. |

The Panther Gym is renowned for its facilities and training atmosphere, and is a mandatory destination for professional boxers training and living in the Edmonton area. Over the years, The Panther Gym has been the home to numerous world class fighters, a few of which have garnered international recognition. It has also been the favorite training stop for international fighters coming through Edmonton, the most famous of which was Mike Tyson who trained here in 1989.
